The Boonslick Area Tourism Council members invite you to “Visit the Boonslick.” Come see our Barn Quilts, learn about our history, hike or bike our trails, fish and boat our rivers and enjoy our great shops, restaurants, wineries, theaters and bed & breakfasts.
The Boonslick Area Tourism Council was formed in 2002 to support tourism in three central Missouri Counties – Cooper, Howard and Saline. It sponsors several projects including the Barn Quilts of the Boonslick and the Folk Festival at Boone's Lick State Historical Site on Labor Day. In october of 2016 the Boonslick Area Tourism Council was awarded the Innovator Award which is presented to smaller tourism entities that achieve great results on a limited budget.
